Love and Other Drugs!

Last night my hubby and I watched a movie after I put Sophie to bed. He went and got Sophie's meds from the pharmacy and then he rented "Love and other drugs" , it came out a while back and its with Jake Gyllenhal and Anne Hathaway . Well if you haven't seen it, i recommend it, if you don't mind the nudity. lol i didn't know what the rating was, i just told David to get it so we could watch and then in the middle of it i see a boob and I'm like what is this?? but after all it was good, it's a sad story. But i liked it. Even David liked it so that means it was good, he usually is "blah, whatever" about chick flicks.
Sophie reminds me so much of myself when i was little, i always woke up with the crazy hair and a mean face and after a while i just got comfortable and forgot about it. Well Sophie is the same way, its so funny, she wakes up all smiles and she is always starving so we give her her milk and after that she just sits there on the couch and stares at her toys or watches TV with daddy before he goes off to work. Then after a while she starts laughing and playing around and taking all the stuff out of her toy box and putting it back in, she just loves taking all the movies out of the shelf and throwing them to the floor and then she just leaves them there till i tell her to help me clean up, she comes and gives me the movies one by one and we put them back. She is adorable i just love her and squeeze her , kiss her and hug her all the time even though she pushes me off. lol

Pixiwoo

Recently I've been watching make-up tutorials on you tube and i got to one video and i noticed there were many videos by the same user, whom i loved! Pixiwoo , two professional make up artists from England they're sisters and they are awesome. I love their tutorials, and i love how they don't waste all this time talking about something else instead of doing their make up. Anyway, i love their Jennifer Lopez and Mila Kunis tutorials, i am waiting anxiously to go and buy me some new brushes and more shadows. I usually do the brown smoky eye for during the day or a work day. Since I've been watching these videos, I've gotten more ideas and i love trying new tips on make up since i love it and it looks great or at least i think so. I even went back to many of the videos and wrote down the brushes i liked and the eyeshadow colors. I told my hubby the other day that putting my make up on is the best part of getting ready for me. I don't know why but since i was young i liked make up and hair and as I learned more and more i just got better at it.

Ear Infection..

So on Monday i was bathing Sophie before i left to work, and i noticed her touching her ear and after i dressed her she still kept touching and pulling on her ear. so i was like OK this is not normal, and on Tuesday she was very fussy and i took her outside for a walk, it was kinda chilly, but i thought it was ok. Wrong. next day she had a runny nose and i took her to the doctor yesterday and yes, she has an ear infection on both ears. This is her 5th one since she was born, so the doctor told me its to many, and this is when I'm supposed to go see a specialist. She talked to me about getting the tubes in her ears to prevent any more ear infections, but I'm not sure i want to. I just think she's too little for that surgery. Anyway , so im home with a sick baby and the good thing is, she is very good and listens to me so its no problem that she's a little sick. It just sucks i hate seeing her like that. She had a rough night breathing with her runny nose but she still slept, so i guess it wasn't that bad.

Last week on Saturday march 19 we went over to my in laws to have dinner and to watch movies around 7, so we had dinner and started watching a movie and it ended around 9:30, so we were getting ready to get home and we find out there's been a shooting in kaysville and some guy killed his dad in a motel like 10 blocks from the house. We waited to see if they caught him and then we decided to stay at my in laws for the night. Sophie had been sleeping a while now and when we went to bed she woke up. i thought GREAT! and she just cried and cried and cried and wouldn't stop finally after an hour she fell asleep. Like a few minutes later she starts laughing and babbling and i get up to see if she's awake and she was sleep talking! lol she was so cute! then she kept rolling over and she hit my phone and it turned on and she grabbed it and started talking on it and laughing, i was like Omg is she awake? and i took it away and she went back to sleep! ugh it was a LOOONG night! i was so tired the next day!

Pozole!

Yesterday whoa!! crazy day! so i woke up earlier than usual to clean up the house and get ready for later on, get sophie ready too Oh and the food!  I go nuts cleaning when i have people over, why am i like that? who knows, but i just want everything to look perfect! So  we invited some friends over for dinner. They're from our ward and we did this thing where she cooked for us japanese food once and i would cook mexican, so it was my turn yesterday and i kept thinking what's easy to make and yummy? well i love Pozole so i made that with the help of my Mother in law of course. she is a pro!So it turned out great but one of the couples we invited forgot about it!!!! so i had lots of leftovers, but better for us we get to enjoy some more! I was so nervous we weren't going to fit in our little kitchen table for 6 but after finding out the other couple wasn't coming, it worked out great! even better! i was so happy this morning that my house was clean when i woke up, no more worrying about cleaning! FOR NOW!

Sophie!

Sophie walks now! yay... She turned one in february and around 13 months she started walking by herself, at first she was scared and would hang onto things but now she is a pro! she is so cute too, she walks too carefully and she is very cautious. She also learned how to fold her arms when we pray, its so cute, i say " Sophie, oracion!" and she folds her arms and bows her head!! she is so smart.

This picture was taken the sunday after her birthday, she got that backpack as a gift and she loves it! she grabs it and walks to me and tells me to put it on her. OH I LOVE HER!

THE BEGINNING

So i just wanted to share real quick how our life as a family began. 

David and I have been married for almost 2 years now. We got married in the Salt Lake City LDS temple on May 15, 2009 and then we went to an amazing honeymoon to Hawaii. We moved to California for the summer of that year and David worked for Pinnacle Security selling alarm systems. It was a crazy summer. I found out i was pregnant with Sophie that summer, and then morning sickness started, i was alone most of the day, and it was just a once in a lifetime experience. After California we moved to Utah, Sophie was born in Utah in February 2010 and we have lived here ever since. I miss Texas of course but Utah is nice.
