I had planned a dinner out for my birthday a week in advance. What i didn't know is that my mom was planning a surprise dinner for me and as i was telling people where to go, my sister had to call them and assure them the surprise party was still on.
My hubby had planned on taking me somewhere before the "dinner" , what i didn't know is that he was just wasting time so everyone could set and get the food ready back home.
He was so funny, he's like " I'm taking you to a place you're going to love and then we can go buy your gift", i was thinking " where are we going?" so we park and I'm like oh " i know where you're taking me" and this is where he took me....
On the way there...
So i was anxious and hungry and after that, i was like OK enough with surprises, I'm ready to eat. And he's like wait we have to go buy your gift, I'm like "aren't you supposed to buy that before my birthday?" so we went to express and i got two shirts.
He was like " You wanna take a walk at the gateway?", i look at him and i said "No, I'm hungry, let's go"
so we left and now i know why, but he was kinda nervous i guess they told him to take longer, but i didn't allow it so we wenty back home to "pick up" my mom and sister to go to our dinner as i had planned.
so we get there to my hubby's parent's house and i'm like why are we stopping here? he's like " your mom and sister are here, so we could all drive together to dinner", i though it was weird.
Surprise!! Everyone yelled as i walked in the door, my mom and sister and nephew, my sister's best friend, my hubby's aunt and uncle, his parents , brother and sister, and the rest were late so they missed it but we had a great dinner and i got 2 giftcards to MAC. Best part of it all.
That was my birthday this year.
