Spring Wedding Extravaganza

Hello Blog!
It's been so long since i've updated my bloggio, but i just don't take the time to, because i do have the time( sometimes) So many "times" in a one sentence. Anyway, so From April to August hmmmm... i have to think hard for this one, lets start off with april.
I went to visit my parents in Houston for 2 weeks, and i had the chance to attend my fabulous cousin's wedding in San Antonio, TX. We stayed at the courtyard Marriott for 2 nights, we arrived there on a Thursday night due to my sister's stubbornness to stay for her doctor's app to find out her baby's sex, so we missed the pool-slash-pizza-party, but we got to sleep in our comfy-white-sheeted-sucky-pillowed-hotel-beds. YAY! ....NOT! My poor Sophie had to sleep in a mini playpen, if you call a 3-hour nap sleeping , i mean who does that? she woke us up hysterically crying at 6 AM for no reason, other than hunger, but i seriously wished i had a nanny-maid at that moment. So after  a 3-hour nap-night we woke up and showered, we went to breakfast at the IHOP across the street to our fab hotel, i think i had the international crepe passport(again, the night before we had a late- night dinner there at IHOP as well) which is incredibly- ridiculously delish. After i devoured my breakfast, we went back to our hotel room and got ready( well i did, since it takes me 2 + hours to get ready specially if it is a special event) the others watched TV and took naps. So we were ready and we were running late as usual, and on top of that we got lost on the way to the temple, yep,  MY DADDY didn't think he needed Garmin( Our GPS). So we got there "late" but to our SURPRISE they hadn't started yet, so we were on time kind of.
After the temple there were the pictures and all that lasted for a good hour and a half, after which i was exhausted and dehydrated due to Texas' heat, it's terribly HOT.
Now off to the reception, it started around 6PM , i think, we got there waaaay early. But it was good because we saved a good spot, and i was the first one in line to get food, YUM YUM.
So the dancing , the toasting ,crying and talking started around 8ish, after which the cake was served, Funny Cake story, click and go read it, but after that the dancing lasted up till midnight, the bride and groom left at 10ish, and i was ready to go too, too bad they couldn't give me a ride to my hotel room, would've been nice, awkward but nice.
We stayed and danced the night away, the bride's talented brothers played some songs with the band and i clapped so hard so it sounded like a lot of people clapped, my hands turned red but we were the only ones left at the reception i didn't want them to feel bad.
Early the next day we left back home, after stopping by at our favorite place IHOP.
i gotta admit it was fun, too bad my hubby couldn't come with me, i had to dance all by myself. :( sad.

So after we came back home( to Houston) my mom and sister flew back with me to Utah and stayed here for 3 weeks, they spent mother's day and my birthday here. We had a blast. i missed work almost the whole 3 weeks they spent here.Good thing my boss is my hubby.
